Hillsborough

2023

This Hillsborough Hills home, originally designed by William Wurster in 1936, underwent a thoughtful renovation to refresh its finishes and better accommodate a growing family. The project focused on updating all bathrooms, painting, and refinishing floors while enhancing flow and natural light throughout the house. Key interventions included reconfiguring the master bathroom to create a dedicated shower room and expanded vanity, opening the dining room to the living area for a unified, airy feel, and adding a powder room from a coat closet. Materials were carefully curated to balance texture, color, and natural elements, from vibrant stones and herringbone zellige tiles to plaster and wood accents.
